WHY REGAAS
Label rules are hard to get right. RegaaS shows you exactly what to fix.
Label rules are spread across agencies and markets, change often, and mistakes often surface after printing. RegaaS checks your existing label against the rules that apply to it and shows you the legal source behind each finding.
The problem with checking labels today
The rules are scattered
A single US food label may need to comply with FDA labeling rules in 21 CFR Part 101, allergen requirements under FALCPA and the FASTER Act, and FTC guidance on environmental claims. Selling the same product in the EU means dealing with a different set of requirements, including Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 and the claims rules in Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006.
Manual reviews are slow and easy to get wrong
An outside consultant may take days to review a label and charge more per review. An internal check can miss small but important details: an icon that counts as a claim, an asterisk with no footnote, or a claim that conflicts with the ingredient list.
Mistakes surface after printing
Once a label has been printed or a product is on the shelf, a problem can mean reprinting, relabeling, or, worse, a shipment being held at the border.
Cross-market labels are the hardest
The same product may need different labeling in the US and the EU. It is rarely clear which text can stay the same and which needs to change.
What makes RegaaS different
- 1
Built for accuracy
We built RegaaS to make label reviews more rigorous. Each rule is derived from regulatory text and tested individually, and every finding includes a citation so you can verify it.
- 2
A complete, cited rule set
RegaaS checks labels against more than 10,000 rules drawn from nine US and EU regulations. Each finding identifies the regulation and page it relies on, so you can verify it against the source. We document the rules covered and their limitations, with links to primary sources. The rule set is updated continuously, and support for more regulated product categories is on the way.
- 3
Ahead of regulatory changes
The rule set includes requirements that have been adopted but are not yet in force. This allows RegaaS to flag labels that may need changes by an upcoming effective date, before those changes take effect.
- 4
Issues marked on your label, with suggested changes
Upload an image of your label, and RegaaS boxes each issue where it appears, with suggested wording where available. Download the annotated label and share it with your designer, supplier, or adviser.
- 5
A purpose-built review engine
RegaaS is more than a label pasted into a chatbot. Its engine reads the label text and analyzes its layout, determines which rules apply to your product and market, and checks the label against those rules one by one. It links each finding to the relevant spot on the label.
Engineers and regulatory specialists built RegaaS to help catch issues that a careful manual review can miss. Have in-house requirements of your own? Our customized service lets you add your company’s rules so labels can be checked against them too. Try it on your own label and see for yourself.

Minutes, not days
A review takes a few minutes. Every account includes three free reviews. After that, you pay per review, with no subscription.
